Conference Speaker Outline & Task List

Fall 2025 Symposium


On behalf of the 24th Cancer Centers Symposium Program Committee, Chaired by the  University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, we are excited that you have accepted the invitation to attend and participate at the upcoming Cancer Center Informatics Society Symposium, November 7 - 9, in Miami.


Your participation and support are deeply valued, contributing to the success of this event and our broader educational society dedicated to NCI-Designated and Community Cancer Centers. By participating in our Symposium, you will receive:


  • One full-year society membership
  • Inducted into InauguralCancer Center Informatics Society Speakers Circle (more to come on this)
  • If you opt to contribute, become a co-author for our workshop publication in JCO Cancer Clinical Informatics.


To assist in organizing your participation, we have prepared this checklist outlining all the necessary steps.  Please review all items below:

  • Hotel & Airline accommodations are required. You are responsible for arranging and booking your own hotel and transportation.
  • Qualified Speakers (Cancer Centers / Academia / Health Systems / Students / Fellows) all receive one night of hotel complementary


3.      Registration

  • Speakers must register online here
  • Registration is Free for all speakers:  Use the provided code at checkout/. See instructions below
  • Obtain your Speaker Code via email.  Please email Silvia Garcia, & Sarah Rose Butler
  • Instructions for Symposium Speakers: (Please follow the steps below)
  1. Click on Registration Button
  2. Complete all required fields on the registration page and click "Submit Registration"
  3. Click the Go to Checkout button.  Under the total, click Redeem Your Coupon
  4. Enter your code in the field provided and click Apply
  5. Click the Checkout button
  6. Review all details, then click Place Order
  7. You will see an order confirmation page—please print this for your records and check your email for confirmation.
  8. You’re all set!
  9. If Any Urgent Problems:  Please reach out to Mary Jo Kronberger via email and she will reach out to the Registration Team.


4.  Your Presentation

  • Upload your PowerPoint Presentation (Link to upload file will be available and emailed to all speakers on November 1st)
  • Deadline to Submit your Speaker File is November 5th
  • Please label your Presentation File using the following format:Day1FullName (for example: Day1KevinKennedy)
  • Presentation Format: Session & Panel Speakers Please limit your presentation between 10 and 15 minutes
  • NOTE:  You will not be able to use your laptop for presentations.  Event AV team will be coordinating the presentation from the back of the room.
  • Speakers:  Please plan to meet with Sarah Rose Butler at either 7:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon on the day of your scheduled presentation to ensure your file is set up and ready. Onsite AV support will also be available.


5. Upload your Headshot and Bio.
