Spring 2024 Symposium

On behalf of the 2024 Program Chairs, Program Committee, we are excited that you have accepted the invitation to attend and participate at the upcoming Cancer Center Informatics Society Symposium taking place at the Estancia La Jolla in San Diego County CA, April 28- May 1, 2024. Your participation and support are deeply valued, contributing to the success of this event and our broader educational society dedicated to NCI and Community Cancer Centers.

The theme to the event is Cultivating the Application of Informatics, Digital Health, & Artificial Intelligence to improve Cancer Clinical Trials. 

Your support for this event and our broader educational society focused on NCI & Community Cancer Centers are deeply valued. By participating in our Symposium, you will receive:

• One full-year society membership
• Inducted into Inaugural Cancer Center Informatics Society Speakers Circle (more to come on this)

• Updated March 28th, 2024:  Hotel accommodations at the Estancia La Jolla are required. You are responsible for arranging and booking your own hotel rooms. Please make reservations online using the link provided to secure the Ci4CC rates.  Group Rate Deadline has been extended and is now April 8th!

• Single Day Standard Room Hotel Accommodations (Non Suite) are provided for members of the Scientific Program Committee.  Please email Ci4CC logistics team with any questions.

5.    Registration

• Updated March 28th, 2024:  Everyone must register online.  Spring 2024 Designated Participant registration fees are significantly lowered (see percentage discount below).
• Members of the Program Committee, Session Chairs, and Speakers to use a special code during the registration checkout process. 
• Please click HERE to send an email to Kevin and receive the code.  Please highlight your full name as it appears on the agenda and the day/time of of your talk.

• Speaker Registration Code Categories
  
• Category 1: Session Chairs > 80 %
• Category 2: Speakers:  Academia / Cancer Center / University Health System > 70 %
• Category 3: Speakers:  Government > 50 %  (Needs approval email by agency accepting discount)
• Category 4: Speakers:  Non-Sponsoring Corporate > 30 % (Needs approval email by Ci4CC Administration)
• Category 5: Speakers: Remote >100%
• Category 6: Sponsors:  Email HERE

6.    Travel

• All members of the Scientific Program Committee and Speakers:  Air travel / Taxi / Ride Share expenses are not covered.
• Air Travel: San Diego Airport, situated roughly 12 miles from the hotel, is serviced by all major airlines, providing direct flights. You are required to arrange your own flights. Ride-sharing services and taxis are the most convenient transportation options. Unfortunately, there is no hotel shuttle service available for airport transfers.
